Postcards From Campos Do Jordão

Campos do Jordão it’s a beautiful city located in São Paulo state, Brazil. More exactly in Mantiqueira Mountain, less than 180km from de city of São Paulo and only a 2h20 minute car drive. Famous due to it’s alpine architecture, it’s usually called the Switzerland from Brazil. All the buildings from houses, shops, hotels to restaurants were inspired in the charming swiss chalets. A must to visit it’s the chocolate Araucaria factory, actually you can’t leave the city without eat and buy the delicious chocolate.

We only went for a day and totally unplanned trip. And unfortunately it was raining, plus around 16.30 more or less it gets dark so I couldn’t take all the photos I was wishing to. Anyway I’m leaving here ( BOTTOM) a little info on what to visit, where to stay and to eat in Campos do Jordão.

I hope you like the photos! Did you ever visited this city? Or have you ever heard about this ” Switzerland from Brazil”?
