Hello loves! I recently went on a little escapade down to Foz de Iguaçu, Brazil. You can see HERE a post about the Iguaçu Waterfalls. Today’s post is all about tips on where to stay and where to eat around. We stayed at the Wish Golf Resort. Beautiful property, family oriented, surrounded by the forest, just 10 minutes from the Foz de Iguaçu International Airport and very close to the Iguaçu Waterfalls Park and Argentina.
The rooms are located in private little houses( each house has 4 rooms) and most them them with a private pool. All of the them are like a mini suite, spacious, clean and very silent.
The resort offers several restaurants from a lobby bar, buffet restaurant “Golf Grill” where you can taste Brazilian gastronomy, you find an Italian taste at the “Forneria di Como” and for meat lovers “Frontera Sur”. For the last 2 restaurants you should make a reservation ( just in case).
Offering all kind of amenities from a large common pool, I believe the number of pools are 7 in total, fitness center, spa, tennis court, golf and a modern Kids club. Internet works very well.
All the staff is very friendly, helpful and I believe they speak a little bit of English( at the least in the reception they do).
At the end the experience was a positive one and I would recommend the resort. We spent only 3 days down there but everything went very well.
LA RUEDA 1975 RESTAURANT – Argentina
During our short trip we went to Argentina side not only to visit the Falls but we wanted to try a famous local restaurant known for the Argentinian meat. La Rueda 1975 opened doors in 1975 and still belongs to the same family. Reservation needed. It pleases both meat and fish lovers with fine Argentinian wines. The dishes are mainly a combination of the traditional and exotic Argentinian gastronomy with an international touch. Don’t forget to try the one of the desserts made with “Dulce de Leche”. Delicious food, very professional and nice staff. Definitely a place to go back.
Thanks for stopping by and for reading! I honestly hope you like the post!
See you on Wednesday!
