Love the outfit! I just think it is grand when a mature professional lady like yourself will wear short skirts/dresses or shorts and complement the legs with knee socks. Not enough people appreciate the look. To my specifications, you don the socks to the proper height – not over the knee, and not much below. Also, with the argyle pattern, you keep it straight and in the proper positioning.
I happen to be a male in my early fifties who sometimes likes to wear shorter shorts and knee socks myself, like that of which was popular in the 1970’s and 1980’s. And I can not understand why the look is controversial today.
